Regular chapter meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday
of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the Fairfield County Genealogical Library,
located at 503 Lenwood Drive in Lancaster, Ohio.

Executive Board meetings are held the 2nd Thursday of each month at
noon in the Genealogical Library.

Visitors are always welcome at any of our meetings.

Jan 14 (Mon) - Library resumes regular hours after winter break.

March 16- Genealogy Course "Introduction to Genealogy" 10:00pm-4:30pm at the FCC-OGS library. Bring your own lunch. You must be registered to attend. Call the Genealogy library to sign up. 740-653-2573

Mar 29th and 30th - FCC-OGS library will be CLOSED – Easter weekend

Apr 18th - Field Trip to Columbus Metro. Library --- Meeting time 9:30am --- Return 4:00pm
Apr 18 (CM) - "From Boom Town to The Beatles" with Liz Baker ---6:30pm
Apr 25th thru , Apr 27th - OGS Conference, Cincinnati, Ohio.
May 2 (EB) - Executive Board ---noon
May 6th thru May 11th (Mon - Sat.) - The FCC-OGS library will be closed all week for research because of the Yard Sale.
May 9, 10, 11 (Thu, Fri, Sat.) - Yard Sale ---9am to 4pm each day.
May 16 (CM) - 'Citing Sources" with Deb Deal ---6:30pm
May 23rd - Field Trip to Highland County --- Meeting time 8:30am ---Return 4:45pm
May 27 (Mon.) - FCC-OGS library will be CLOSED – Memorial Day holiday
Jun 13 - (EB) - Executive Board ---noon
Jun 13 - Euchre Party at the FCC-OGS Library ---7pm
Jun 20 (CM) - "The Athens Asylum Cemetery Project" with Doug and Berta Lockhart --6:30pm.
Jun 27th - Field Trip to Darke County (at the Garst museum, $8, $7 seniors) --- Meeting time 7:30am ---Return 5:30pm
Jul 11 (EB) - Executive Board ---noon
Jul 18 (CM) - “Homecoming Picnic & Get Together” ---6:30pm at TBD.
Jul 25th - Field Trip to Meigs County --- Meeting time 8:30am ---Return 4:30pm

Aug 8 - Euchre Party at the FCC-OGS Library ---7pm
Aug 9th & 10th - Baltimore Festival. Come see us at our booth.
Aug 15th(CM) - "TBD" with Bill Boone---6:30pm.
Aug 22nd - Field Trip to Champaign County --- Meeting time 8:30am ---Return 4:30pm
Sep. 2nd (Mon.) - FCC-OGS library will be CLOSED – Labor Day Holiday

Sep 26th - Field Trip to OGS Library, Bellville --- Meeting time 8:00am ---Return 4:45pm

Oct 3 - Euchre Party at the FCC-OGS Library ---7pm
Oct 7th thru Oct 12th (Mon - Sat) - “Meet Us at the Fair” – Visit the Chapter’s booth at the Fairfield County Fair. – The Library will be closed all this week.
Oct 17 (CM) - Annual Tradition "Treasures from the Attic -- Sharing our past." Bring your favorite family heirloom and talk about it; or listen to others do the same. Mike LeMay and George Barnes will offer a professional opinion of the "price at auction " of your treasures --- 6:30pm
Nov 11 - REMEMBER TO VOTE
Nov 14 (EB) - Executive Board ---noon pm
Nov 21 (CM) - "German Research" with Dr. Richard Hartle ---6:30pm
The FCC-OGS library will be closed from Friday November 29th and Saturday November 30th for the Thanksgiving Holiday.
We will reopen Monday December 2nd at 10am.
Dec 12 (EB) - Executive Board ---noon pm
Dec 13 (Fri) - The FCC-OGS library will close at 1pm to setup for the cookie walk
Dec 14 (Sat) - Cookie Walk at FCC-OGS library, 503 Lenwood Dr, 1pm -4pm (or until the cookies run out)
Dec 14, 2013 (Saturday) through Jan 11, 2014 (Saturday) - FCC-OGS library will be CLOSED for Winter Break – Appointments may be scheduled by contacting the Chapter. We will reopen on Monday, Jan 13, 2014.
Dec 19 (CM) - Holiday Party at the Griley House in Baltimore, Ohio. Presentation of new Fairfield County Pioneers. Bring a covered dish and a gift for the 'white elephant' exchange---6:30pm
