Looking for William MILLER possibly born in Germany but lived
briefly in Virginia before settling in Fairfield County, Ohio. He married Minnie ROSSO(?)
and they had 5 children, Henry John, Charley J. (1887-1940), Bertie, Ivy, and Annie
MILLER. Henry John MILLER married Ethel Letitia STEBLETON and they had 4 children,
Charles, Alvin, Esther, and Ralph Henry MILLER (born 27-Oct.-1912, died 13- Aug- 1980).
Ralph H. MILLER is my grandfather and lived and died in Canal Winchester, Fairfield
County, Ohio. Any information regarding William MILLER, his family (past or previous) will

lived in Fairfield County Ohio in the early 1800s. Peter BOWMAN was married to Christina ?
and had at least one daughter, Christina BOWMAN who married Cornelius MURRAY in 1833 in

Addie, Clarence, and Alice. MYERS LEOFFLER AGLER SPANGLER DUKES My great-great-grandfather, Jacob Myers
(June 6, 1815-May 9, 1873), born in Germany?, married Caroline Leoffler (May 6,
1819-August 12, 1887), also born in Germany?. Both are buried in Riverside Cemetery,
Mifflin Township, Franklin County, Ohio. Their son, George W. Myers (1853-1914), was born
somewhere in Indiana. George W. Myers married Mary Jane Agler about 1874 in Columbus. I
can't find Jacob or Caroline in any census records anywhere. Pasted in the front of our
Myers family bible is the following obituary dated 1915. Would like to know how this
person is connected. "SPANGLER. --- Mary A. Myers was born in Wells County,
Indiana, June 24, 1840. At the age of eleven years her parents moved to Fairfield county,
Ohio, where she grew to womanhood. In 1860 she united with the Evangelical Lutheran church
at Stoutsville, Ohio, and has ever since lived a Christian life. October 21, 1860, she was
married to Daniel W. Spangler also of Fairfield County, O. On November 10, 1862, they
settled on the farm in Freedom township, Henry county [Ohio] then a dense wilderness and
which place has since been their home except a residence of two years in Napoleon when her
husband was sheriff of Henry county...She departed this life March 29, 1915...Burial at
Forest Hill cemetery." 1880 census of Henry County, Ohio, lists Mary A. Myers
Spanger's parents as born in Prussia. The Myers family bible also contains a newspaper
clipping dated 1930, congratulating the 60th wedding anniversary of William and Elizabeth
Myers of Franklin County, Ohio. Willaim McKinley Myers (1844-1930) and Elizabeth Dukes?
Myers (1851-1932) are buried in Asbury Cemetery, Franklin County, Ohio. 1880 census lists
William Myers as born in Indiana, and his parents born in Wurtemberg (Germany). Silent
Home Cemetery, Reynoldsberg, Franklin County, Ohio, has 18 Myers burials. Oldest is
Christian Myers, March 10, 1839-June 15, 1910 and Barbara Myers, February 14, 1848-October

son named Edwin Hay Murphy on Dec. 5, 1909, in Amanda Ohio and both of his parents listed

Schley in Franklin Co. Probate Court in 1928.I am Robert's (Edwin's) son and knew none of
this until he fell ill in the last 3 weeks and I had to search through some of his papers.
I was shocked to say the least and would very much like to find some answers to the many
questions I am filled with. I am researching Sabastian & Terecy (or Teresa) (KNULL) RUNSER. Sabasitan
emigrated to Fairfield Co. c. 1831-2 from Germany. He was a farmer. They had at least 2
children, Johanna and John R. b. 1859 & 1861.Johanna married Joseph Spieles and had 6
children. John married Anna Pauline Etkins and had 5 children. I would be interested in
corresponding with anyone who has additional information on Sabastian or Teresa's

and Samantha Strickler burried Mt. Carmel Cemetery had children S. Ray Bussert (who
founded town of Revenge, built store there at the end of Revenge Rd. and put in first
telelphone lines) and Mary Ella Bussert (1879-1904) who m. Harry Hartman (Hartman's owned
grocery in Clearport/Amanda). Their children were (Mildred) Marie who married Cloyce E.
Kinser, Ruth Lucille who married Melvin Trusler and Lloyd Hartman who married Edna
Carroll. Bill DUM married Fannie Bussert? and built the Crawford Institute in Sugar Grove
(any info on this college?) when Mary Bussert Hartman died the Harry Hartman moved to
Franklin ofr Union Counties where his brother? built the Hartman theatre Building (anyone

Fairfield County, Ohio about 1820. He died there by 1829. A Nathan SMITH was one of the
executors of his will. Nathan was born 1780-1790. In 1830 in Fairfield County, Ohio, he
had wife, one son under 5 and 3 daughters. Does anyone have any further information on

although they undoubtedly came from Pennsylvania. I believe him to be a son of Louis
PONSLER Jr & Anna WERNER, thereby a grandson of Louis PONSLER Sr & Tamar EVANS.
Solomon married 1st - Chloe Malinda BRECKENRIDGE born August 11, 1828 on February 7, 1847
in Franklin County, Ohio and she died February 1, 1867 in Shelby County, Illinois. He
married 2nd - Margaret HARRISON in either Ohio or Illinois. Only info I have is she was a
close friend of Chloe Malinda and widowed approximately same time frame as Solomon. The
story is he went back to Ohio and married the widow (whether HARRISON is her maiden name
or her married name I don't know, although they named their son Patterson Harrison PONSLER
and their daughter Chloe Malinda after his 1st wife/her best friend??)and she, Margaret,
died within 2 years after birth of their daughter. He then, remarried, but in Shelby
County and again, to a widow, Sarah McCurdy Bixler. I would appreciate hearing from anyone
who has any knowledge of this family. Solomon & Chloe Malinda are my great great
grandparents, their daughter Caroline my great grandmother and Caroline unmarried, died at
the age of 17 in childbirth of my grandmother Antoinette in 1873. I have heard from
another researcher, who, although has no knowledge of my Chloe Malinda in Franklin County,
feels she is of the BRECKENRIDGES of what he termed "of Culbertson's Row". Is

born 1794 in Virginia, married in Fairfield Co., OH in 1824 to Delilah Bonham. I have this
record. Do you have any more? He moved shortly after the marriage to Delaware County, OH
and later to Napa Co., CA. My grandmother Grace M. WIDENER was born in Baltimore, Ohio on Nov 17, 1885
according to her marriage certificate in Franklin Co., Ohio. Her father, John C. WIDENER
and mother, Della McDONALD were also born in Ohio Aug 1863 and March 1865. A brother,
Phillip C. WIDENER was born Feruary 1887 and sister, Georgia S. WIDENER born December
1888(location unknown but probably Baltimore, Ohio). John C. WIDENER was listed as a Rail
Road Conductor in the 1900 census.Copies of birth certificates, marriage (probably 1884),
or any information would be so appreciated. KEENAN The parents of Andrew KEENAN who was b. 2 March 1800 Washington Co. PA
came to Fairfield Co. OH in 1802 where Andrew's dad died in the winter of 1802 leaving a
widow with nine children with Andrew being the youngest. Census records state that

Franklin was my husband's g.g.grandfather. Meredith was my husband's g.grandfather. Can

Milligan lived in Luray (Union twp) Fairfield on the 1850 Ohio censes-- His wife was Cynthia Myers who was 2nd wife of Robert Paden .She married Robert Paden in 1852 she died 20 May 1886 Reading twp Perry County Ohio. Moses A. Milligan was a Methodist minister in Rushcreek as early as 1836. I had listed his wife as Cynthia Young-- this is incorrect she was Cynthia Myers born 1818 in either Fairfield Co. or what is Perry county now. Her death record states she died in Reading and was born in Reading. I would like to find more on the Myers or Moyers families in Fairfied and Perry county--if possible. had a son Dr. Amos S. Williams born in Fairfield county 19 Dec 1823. According to the 1886
History of Seneca County (Ohio), Amos was raised in Fairfield and Perry counties. He
married 1853 to Sarah R. McGOWAN of Somerset, Perry co. In 1886, he was residing in
Fostoria, Ohio. An 1888 obituary in my own Williams family in Fremont (Sandusky County)
mentions Dr. Williams of Fostoria as a cousin. I need help in sorting out Williamses! I am searching information on the Moses A. MILLIGAN and his wife Cynthia Young
who lived in Rushville as early as 1836 He was a methodist minister in a article I have
that was published in preachers of Ohio-- they left there and moved over to Union (Luray)
twp Licking County by 1850-- I feel maybe the Cynthia Young was from Rushville their first
child was born in 1838 Rushville-can anyone enlighten me on any of the Milligan family
there at that time. Thanks In the late 1800's and early 1900's members of the Wildermuth Family lived in
Baltimore, Ohio and ran a business known as the Wildermuth Bending Company. The business
made wheels for horse-drawn carriages and other products using bent wood. Some time around
1900 the factory burned down and my understanding is that the business was moved to
Columbus, Ohio. My parents, three sisters and a brother moved to a house at 1530 Summit
Street, Columbus, where I was born on February 7, 1913. I am trying to obtain more
information on where the family lived in Baltimore, where the factory was, when it burned
down and when and where it was rebuilt in Columbus. The Wildermuth family maintains the

GRIMES died in 1852 and his will written in 1832 mentions his wife Prudence (FORD?) and

was born 1818 in Fairfield Co. She married Peter Geo SWIHART Sep 22, 1839 in Stark Co.
What happened to them after that? Would like information on Jacob and Catherine (?) REYNOLDS/RUNNELS who appear in
1840 census for Rush Creek, Fairfield Co., OH. Both Jacob and Catherine were born about
1809 in PA. Their children include: Mary Ann, b. ca 1832; Elizabeth,b. June 1834;
Margaret, b. ca 1836; William, b. ca 1838; Joseph, b. ca 1841; Amanda, b. ca 1843, all in
OH, and Sarah, b. ca 1847 in Iowa. By the 1850 census, the family can be located in Clark

have Mary Ann's parents or any dates on her. Seeking additional information on Rev. John & Sarah (GREEN) WISEMAN of New
Salem area. I visited area, located information in Perry County District Library, and
found the cemetery where they are buried. Looking for additional background information on
them and John's two brothers, Samuel and Isaac, that came from Greenbrier (Monroe) County,
