Am searching for information on John L. Slawson b 16 Dec 1814 in Lancaster, OH. He married Elizabeth______. They had a daughter Susan b 1845 in OH. They then moved to Morgan Co. AL where daughters Frances A. was b 1849 and Abugale b 1850. The family later moved to Alexander Co., IL where Frances A. married Edward DesEnfants 24 December 1865. I am looking for any information on the Slawson family.

Christina WINSTEAD was b. 1816 in Amanda Twp. Fairfield Co Oh. In Aug of 1841 she married Martin FULKERSON in Pickaway Co Oh where they settled and raised a large family. I need information on the WINSTEAD family.

James J. Jeffries born in Carroll, Fairfield County, OH 1875 was boxing heavyweight champion of the world 1899-1905. My mother Ardith Jeffries grew up with the family lore that she was related to him. She grew up in Osage Iowa and was a member of a very large clan of Jeffries in that part of northern Iowa. Appreciate any help in establishing a link between James J. Jeffries and these Iowa Jeffries.

Franz Wachtel brought his family to Lancaster, Fairfield Co. in the 1830s from Bavaria, via France. He had been in Napoleon's army. His wife was Charlotte. They had two daughters and a son Martin and a son Franz. Franz jr. died not long after they arrived. Martin went to Indiana then to Missouri. We know nothing of what became of any one but Martin...and know lots about him.

Charles Wesley b 6/17/1910 was my grandfather, his father, Nelson Leroy /Leroy Nelson b 2/5/1887 in Clearcreek Township, mother Laura Esther Smith, b 1891, d 4/11/1923 in Hocking County. Nelson and Laura had 4 children. Nelson's parents were Charles, b 7/7/1847, d 9/26/1904 in Fairfield County (Oakland) and Martha Fausnaugh, b 3/30/1848, d 12/16/1894. Charles and Martha had 6 children. Charles may have had another wife prior to Martha (Ella?). I'm hoping to locate parents and siblings of Charles and Martha as well as information on Nelson's siblings.

Looking for info on Frederick & Mary Evans Eruman who came to Fairfield Co. and there built the second house erected in that town. He was a hatter.Later sold and moved to Royalton where he purchased 320 acres of land. It is noted that he is buried on the farm of Valentine Reber about halfway between Lancaster and Circleville, Oh. some time around 1824. Would love to know if the graves are still there and any info that I could get.

Lancaster. He married susan Barthlomew in 1849. children allerich 1855 Harvey 1856 William 1860. they belonged to St. Mary's Catholic church. their baby Nicholas age 2 is buried at elwood. Others in this family include. Nicholas
sister Kunigunda Schwartz Mourer, John Schwartz, George schwartz and william H. collins who was born in Pa. in

I am looking for any information on George W. King born 25 Sep. 1840 in Clear Creek Township in Fairfield County OH. He married Elizabeth Waggoner on 13 Nov. 1862 and died 7 Dec. 1922. His father was Peter King.
