This file is a listing of all of the gravestones read in Fairfield County,
Ohio by the Fairfield Chapter of the Ohio Genealogical Society (FCC-OGS). It does not include all of Forest Rose;
only the old German Section which was read and published in our quarterly newsletter, The Fairfield Trace.
The Index is to be used in conjunction with the FCC-OGS published Township Cemetery Books.
The First Column is the NAME on the stone and the Second Column is the TOWNSHIP CEMETERY BOOK where the tombstone
information has been published.
After locating a name in this index, go to to the index in the appropriate
Cemetery Book for the inscription information and cemetery location.
The cemetery books are not online but copies are available at several research locations including
the FCC-OGS Library in Lancaster, OH, the Fairfield County District Library in Lancaster, OH,
the Allen County Library in Ft Wayne, IN, and the OGS Library in Mansfield, OH.
The cemetery books may also be purchased through our Society by mail, online or in person.
Lookups may be requested from the FCC-OGS library by mail or by phone. Only two lookups will be done per request.
Reseach services are available from the FCC-OGS library for a nominal fee.
